Make a contribution

You can support us directly with a one-time or recurring donation through Zeffy. Or Venmo us @redbudbooks. We prefer Zeffy because they don’t charge any fees, and your donations go directly and fully to us, but we recognize that Venmo (which does take a cut of any monies donated) is easy and we are grateful for the support either way. Please note that you don’t need a Zeffy account to donate, as they accept many forms of payment through their platform.

Become a Faculty Red-Buddy

Book credits, received in exchange for manuscript or book-proposal reviews, can be donated to Redbud so that we can purchase titles for the store. If you have publisher-credits to donate, please reach out to us at collective [at] redbudbooks.org at any point in the process so we can help coordinate with you and the publisher. Your credit donations are tax deductible!

Similarly, if you serve as a book reviewer or on a review committee, we welcome donations of any titles in excellent or like-new condition that you don’t plan to keep. Please reach out to us if you’d like to offer these to Redbud, or feel free to drop off small quantities of titles at any point when we are open. We appreciate it!

Shopping through Bookshop.org & Libro.fm

Beyond the inventory we maintain in-store, as well as the option to special order titles for you, you can also support us every time you order books online. As a Bookshop.org affiliate, we earn a commission whenever you purchase books through our online Bookshop storefront. Bookshop.org is an online bookstore with a mission to financially support local, independent bookstores, and that includes us as well as other small bookstores in our community.

Community members can also support us when purchasing audiobooks through Libro.fm as well! Simply use our storefront link to browse and purchase audio versions of your favorite (or soon-to-be favorite) books, and we’ll earn a small commission on each purchase. We appreciate your support!

Volunteering

Our volunteers are the lifeblood of Redbud, and we could always use more folks to help out whether through staffing shifts in-store, taking on special projects, assisting with events, or any of a number of other ways.
